Contact with Parents

It is important that all team members maintain professional relationships at all times with families.  The Centre DOES NOT support in any form or manner, socialising with parents, both during and outside Centre hours, including through the use of social media, as this may compromise the team member’s integrity with the family and in turn, the Centre as a whole.  Sometimes parents ask educators to care for children outside of Centre hours ie; babysitting.  Viewbank Early Childhood Centre accepts no responsibility for such arrangements and expects educators to do so on a professional basis only.
