Infectious Conditions

If your child is diagnosed as having an infectious condition, it is your responsibility to notify the Centre immediately and provide a Doctor’s Certificate (if required) upon returning to the Centre. Parents will be notified of any cases of infectious conditions in the centre via the ‘Children’s Health Board’ in the Administration Foyer.

Do not send your child to the Centre if he/she is infectious or has come into contact with an infectious condition, for the period as specified in our policies and by the ‘Recommended minimum exclusion periods – Table 1.1 NHMRC, located on the Centre Information Board. Sending your child will place other children, parents and educators at risk. Children not immunised will be excluded.
