Internal Communication6.4 INTERNAL COMMUNICATION Internal communication occurs via the centre’s telephone and computer systems and through postings in the staff room. Educators and staff should use the intercom system whenever possible to communicate with team members from another area rather than leaving their room to pass on a message. Administration and Management will communicate and correspond with team members via regular emails, including memos, what’s happening lists, events etc, so team members should ensure they check their emails regularly throughout the day. Every week a ‘Staff Circular’ is posted in the staff room notices folder, which must be signed by all employees once it is read. All permanent team members are allocated a ‘pigeon hole’ which is located in the staffroom and MUST be checked daily. Any other important documents posted in the staff room must also be signed. Any documents posted in the staffroom should not be removed for the staffroom for confidentiality purposes. Internal communication familiarisation and strategies and should be discussed with the Nominated Supervisor/Team Leader upon appointment. → next policy (Intellectual Property) → back to Operations and Adminstration |
