6.7   INTERNET

At Viewbank Early Childhood Centre, our children, families and team members safety is our highest priority.  To help ensure no one associated with the Centre is subject to any potential breaches of security, we ask that team members respect and co-operate with our policies in regards to internet usage, social media, mobile phones and cameras.

Team members may only download information that is relevant to their position at Viewbank Early Childhood Centre e.g; information for programming, or in connection with their traineeships or other studies approved by the Centre.  Social networks, such as facebook etc, are NOT able to be accessed at Viewbank Early Childhood Centre at ANY time.  Team members should be aware of who they associate with across these networks so as not to in any form or way, bring their, or the Centre’s, reputation into disrepute. (see Social Media Policy) Team members may only use Centre allocated USB sticks, CD’s etc to help minimise viruses attacking our computer systems.
