Safety and Emergency Procedures

Emergency evacuation procedures in case of fire etc, are displayed in each of the children’s rooms as well as the Administration foyer, staffroom, kitchen, hallway and laundry.

Our team members are trained to deal with such emergencies and at regular intervals emergency evacuations are practiced with the children and evaluated.

Educators at the centre have First Aid training and are equipped to handle emergency First Aid situations.

In the case of a localised disaster requiring the Centre to be evacuated, children may be collected from Jedem Close, Viewbank, 1^st street on the left after Viewbank Early Childhood Centre.
